Boulder Lake
Brian and I spent Saturday hiking into Little Boulder and Boulder Lakes - It was an easy one day hike that we tried to make harder by finding Taipe Lake - No such luck - Reading the guide book we knew that this was an easy in and out hike and to expect company - what it didn't tell us is that we had wondered into MOSQUITO HELL - after setting up camp in a beautiful meadow we proceeded to be eaten alive - hiding in the tent was our only escape - after taking a well deserved nap we packed up camp and headed to the other side - lucky for us it wasn't as bad but we both came home covered in bites - hello west nile virus -
