Suggestions on where to take our next vacation?

Santorini, Greece

Switzerland

Fussen, Germany

Amalfi Coast, Italy

Crete, Greece

I've had this crazy addiction to traveling for the past 10 years which all started on my first flight to New York and I haven't been able to get it under control since. We've been lucky enough to be able to afford to take a trip somewhere each year (well I can't say lucky enough, I've busted my ass working 3 jobs at one point to be able to afford it) This year Brian and I have decided to go overseas but can't decided which country to visit. I'm all about visiting somewhere warm with great beaches. He on the other hand can't stand laying around on a beach "wasting the day. He wants to hike, see historical monuments, grab a beer at the pub. I want to do all those things too but is it to much to ask that I get a tan during the process :)
Anyone got any suggestion on places to visit? We've already been to Ireland and England and would like to try something new. Any ideas?

Tucker Dog

I really didn't know what I was getting myself into when I agree to get a Rottweiler. I knew I wanted a big dog I just didn't think I get one that was so needy. He's constantly under my feet no matter what I do ( I guess that's kind of what it feels like to have a kid) He's attention hungry and insist that your hand be placed somewhere on his body at all times. Heaven forbid, you've got a cup of coffee in your hand because at some point its going to end up on your lap. He farts, snorts, and licks unmentionable parts of his body on a regular basis. The amount of cleaning I do has more then doubled in the last year and a half. Sweeping must be done daily and each time I sweep there is enough hair collected to make a small sweater. After saying all this I just want to make it clear that he completes me :)

Torie & Justin

One of my very best friends got married over the summer at Arrington Apples. Torie and Justin actually met while we were out celebrating my 26th birthday. I swear it was love at first sight. This is my 7th wedding as a bridemaids and I'm starting to think that old saying is true. " Always a bridesmaid, never a bride." Like most girls I love weddings. I love everything about them from the excitement of planning them all the way down to my last cocktail of the night.

Another one of my other good friends (I was in her wedding too :) took most of these photos. Everytime I see some of her work I'm blown away by her talent. If anyones looking for a photographer check her out under this site. Sara Quenell Photography http://saraquenellphotography.blogspot.com/ . (just helping you out girl)

Trinity Lake

SunRise

SunSet
There are only two places in this world I call home and this is one of them. There's nothing like waking up to a little slice of heaven. I'm so obsessed with this place that I've requested that Brian spread half of my ashes here and the other half somewhere over Fieldbrook Valley. I remember visiting this place as a child and hating it. The red clay that stains all your clothes, the bugs, the heat, and my least favorite thing of all snakes. It still has all those things but I've grown to appreciate nature a little more these days. There's something in the air that surrounds this place that energizes my body and puts me at peace.

Great day by the pool

I can't take credit for any of these photos of Logan but I wish I could. One of the hotel employees spent the day taking photos of all the kids. I was impressed on how well a few of them turned out. At night after dinner you can view the photos and purchase them for an outrageous amount of money. Its so rare for us to get a good photo of Logan. He has a tendency to make silly faces or fake smile. Which I think he gets from me ;)

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Nov 14 to Nov 22 08

We spent an entire week in Mexico with my family. I've got a ton of pictures on my computer but can't find the program I use to resize them. It takes me hours to do it the old fashion way and I really don't have the energy to sit down and do them all. So here are a few that Brian already did to send to Logans mom. :)
We stayed at the Allergo Playacar which is about a 15 minute walk to the heart of Playa Del Carmen. Its a cute town that caters to the cruise ships. We stayed all inclusive ( for those of you who don't know what that means let me explain, all inclusive means that all of your drinks, food, room, and entertainment are paid for as long as your on resort property) it cost us a total of $828 dollars per person including airfair. Super Cheap!
This is my fourth trip to Mexico and the second one with my family and let me tell you its not easy traveling with 13 people. Thanks Dad for taking us!

Northern California all the way to Washington

My two favorite men

Okay, so most of these photos are old but I'm just now spending the time to figure out how to use blogspot and these are the only photos I have on this computer. I promise to upload more current pictures as soon as I get a chance.

Brian and Tucker on the hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree. Tuckers first time to the snow, which he loved.

Cabo San Lucas

Last years trip to Cabo San Lucas. We spent 6 sunny days relaxing on the beaches of Mexico. I can honestly say that even though we had a good time Cabo is probably my least favorite vacation spot in Mexico. It reminds me a lot of Las Vegas with its million dollar yachts and over priced margaritas.

My secrets out

I've had this blog for little over a year and have never really been able to get into the whole sharing my life in writing thing. Maybe its because I spend entirely to much time reading, deleting, and rewriting everything that I post.

I've been silently view my friends pages for the last couple of years but with our crazy society and all those weirdos out there it means that more and more of my friends are going private. Which is forcing me to actually figure out how this thing works.
