Pony Express Days

Each year our town host an event known as Pony Express Days. Through out the years the parade attendance has dwindled and was almost non existence last year due to a name change. I have to give credit to the carmasin(misspelled) for getting it back on track. It was probably one of the best Pony Express Days that I have attended. Of course, all the beer you can drink for $20 dollars might have played a factor in that.

Memorial Weekend

Brian and I head up to Trinity Lake every memorial weekend to spend time with my family. We were blessed with amazing weather for this time of year and the kids actually got to spend a little time at the lake. We took Tucker with us which is an adventure all in itself. He had a ball being unleashed and playing in the water with the kids. As you can see from the picture above the lake is extremely low and there is only one location on the entire lake where you can launch your boat.

I can honestly say that Redwood Run is probably one of the craziest events that I have ever been too. From naked chicks, to hells angels, public sex, and free flowing marijane its an eye opener on how different my life is from others. Thats not to say that I didn't have a blast because large amounts of alcohol can make just about anything fun but it does make me wonder what these people do for a living. Besides all the craziness we also got to see a few interesting choices of fashion. All I have to say is that these either girls have courage or no morals. I'm still trying to figure out which one :)
