Mama's Fish House located in Kuau Cove on Maui's North Shore is a night that I'll remember forever. I'm not exactly sure how we heard of this place. It might have been our travel book or maybe even suggested to us from people who have been to Maui before. Hawaii itself is pretty freakin spectacular but to add in the best meal of my life; set right out on the beach made it a night I'll never forget. It also helps that it was also the most expensive meal I had ever eaten. I was so thrown back by the price of the place that I got a appetizer because I couldn't fathom spending that much on dinner. Brian and I still talk about going back to Mama's Fish House yet we're both pretty sure that we'll never be able to capture that moment again.

I know... I know.... I'm a complete and total dork but I can't help it. I freakin love this show. Its actually one of the few shows that Brian and I will both sit down and watch together. Its also one of the few shows out there that really makes the contestant work for their money and when they do win its usual such a small amount of money that I can't imagine that it even paid for their airfare much less cover the cost of their hotel.

Unless of course your super human Ken Jennings who walked away with over 2 million dollars on his 75 day winning streak.

A picture with the person you've been close with the longest

11 years, two weeks, 9 hrs, and 42 minutes of friendship. Ha ha okay so I don’t really know the hours or the minutes but I’m pretty damn sure of the years and weeks that I’ve got invested in this friendship. He is my best friend, my other half, the one who makes me laugh and cry. We’ve had our ups and downs and have spent many nights apart trying to figure out if the steps we were taking were the right ones. In the end we’ve always come back to each other because we are both believers in honesty, loyalty, and pulling your own weight in a relationship.

10.I’m not much of a girly girl. I don’t spend my money on clothes, hair, nails, and tanning. I’d rather travel yet I find myself secretly jealous of those girls who are always so well put together.

You can't start the night off right in Vegas without cocktails

Have I told you guys lately how much I love my man!?!? I know I do a lot of bitching about him because well honestly its fun and entertaining for us ladies to complain about our men. But every once in awhile I need to put the brakes on it and remind myself that there is a reason why we're choosing to spend our lives driving each other crazy.

We celebrated our 11 year anniversary last week by going to Las Vegas. Its the 5th time that I've been there and our third time together. In all the times I've been there I've always wanted to see "O" which for those of you who have never been to Vegas or heard of "O" let me explain that its a bit like going to the circus, or the Olympics, or a diving competition, or a dance off. Its theater and entertainment at its best. Well my lovely surprised me with tickets. Not just any tickets either. I'm talking front row freaking tickets(thanks Isaac) It was freakin amazing!

Anyone else tired of getting moldy produce at Safeway? Good thing the farmers market start up full swing last weekend. I'm going to have to train my corperate ass to start being an organic consumer.

Just under a year ago this month I was feverishly trying to lose weight for my friends wedding that was taking place in North Carolina. I managed to lose 16 pounds by eating correctly and exercising. I also managed to keep it off for about 8 months. Just after Christmas I realized that the scale had been slowing.....I mean rapidly going up. Its official! after this past weekend I have gained back everything but ONE freakin pound. Hello gym, its time we start dating again.

Snow Canyon State Park, St George, Utah

Back in May we did a drive by St George, Utah. I had mentioned to Brian that it might be one of those places I wouldn't mind moving too one day. He couldn't remember it so we drove up Tuesday morning and hiked around Snow Canyon, checked out the town and had lunch at Panda Express (yummy) I also made him take me to Cold Stone for some tasty ice cream which probably was a contributing factor in the 4 pounds I gained this vacation.
