Germany it is!

If you haven't noticed yet I tend to do a lot of posting at once and then ignore blogspot for awhile. I'm not really sure why this is and its kind of annoying.

Anyway, Brian and I have decided that we're headed to Germany in April. I found a really cheap package deal out of SFO to Munich International Airport. Our flight and hotel came out to $860.00 per person. Super Cheap! We've decided that we're not going to stay in the heart of Munich put rather at a hotel which is located about 15 miles away. Doing so will save us about $300 dollars and for that kind of savings we can take the s-bahn(train/bus) into town and still be ahead. We're hoping to rent a car to get a real feel of Germany. Of course after I decided that Brian tells me about the Autobahn freeway were you can drive as fast as you want. Yikes! He also informed me that gas is extremely expensive and we'll be looking to pay around $20.00 per gallon. Good thing we got the hotel for so cheap!

Let the good times roll

I had plan to do a big get together for my birthday on January 9th but I'm one of those people who are horrible at calling around to arrange things. After giving it some thought I decided that it wasn't worth the effort to do a get together. I can't tell you how many times I've planned the perfect night only to have it turn out not so perfect. I think its the anticipation and stress of wanting to have fun only to realize that its not as fun as you thought it would be.

At the last minute on Friday night I got a message from our good friends Carly and Derek wanting to know if we wanted to get together for my birthday. It turned out to be a great night (I'm sure you can tell from the pictures) although I drank more then my medicatioin allows(sorry mom) and hurt my ass trying to do the splits. It was well worth the embrassing stories I'm just now learning about.

Just some random holiday photos that I've been meaning to post. I was planning on doing a whole section to the craziness of the season but once I finally uploaded all my photos I realized I didn't take as many photos as I thought. oops

I had to post this photo because it cracked me up. I came home the other day to see tucker kicking it in the lawn chair. I guess this is what he does all day while I'am at work.

29 today

Had somebody told me that at 29 I would still feel as though I was 18 I would have thought they were crazy. Of course my body looks nothing like it did 11 years ago but my mind can't grasp the fact that next year I'll be 30. I actually found my first grey hair last week and had a slight melt down in front of Brian. I also purchased my first intense re-tightening gel & anti-wrinkle treatment from l'oreal yesterday. For the first time in my life I can look in the mirror and see lines on my face without having to smile. I applied it last night and went to bed smelling like my grandmother. I better start seeing results soon.

On a less depressed note our home computer is broken and I haven't been able to post any of our holiday photos. Hopefully we'll have it back up and running soon
