Salzburg, Austria : Salzburg is world famous for its baroque still architecture and is one of the best-preserved city centres. The buildings date back to the early 1400. Although most of Europe is decorated with beautiful architect not all of them boast a fortress over looking it. At this moment Salzburg is my number one choice for places to visit.
Dublin, Ireland : Dublin was a close first place and had I visited them both on the same trip it might actually have come in first. Voted the friendliest city in all of Europe it lives up to its name. With a great night life and plenty of churches to go around Dublin might have been voted number one if it hadn’t been so freaking cold while we were there.
Amsterdam, The Netherlands: When most people think of Amsterdam they think of legal prostitution and drugs. At least that’s what I thought and well its all true but what they don’t mention is that Amsterdam has more canals then Venice. Great architecture and plenty of café’s to enjoy while watching the boats float by.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany : A medieval city with cobblestone streets and a surrounding wall. Its very own torture museum and an entire store dedicated to Christmas. What more could a girl ask for?
Playa del Carmen, Mexico : This use to be Mexico’s best kept secret and is by far my favorite place to visit while south of the boarder. White sand beaches and torques blue water lapping at the shores of a quiet little fishing village. Or at least that’s what it use to be when I first started visiting Playa Del Carmen 7 years ago. Now there‘s a Walmart and Sams Club and TimeShare people. Gotta love tourism at its finest. It still makes my list of favorite places to visit because of the price. Its hard to beat an $800 dollar trip that includes airfare, hotel, and all you can eat/drink.
